This was one of several lies that Christians were tricked into thinking we’re true that Donald Trump said to Pat Robertson on CBN in September before the election.
“If we don’t win this election, you’ll never see another Republican and you’ll have a whole different church structure.” -Donald Trump
These are the unfortunate lies that shape christians into not caring about the reality of what’s around them, but to make decisions out of fear…like elections. Pastors and churches that jump on this fear train should be ashamed. If one believes the above statement to be true, then do they actually believe Jesus is who he claimed to be? If it brings fear, it is not of God but comes from the devil personified. The statement above is not of God and Christians, or anyone, need to not fall for it.
This past election cycle has been crazy. You could put it all under a circus tent because it literally is like a circus on reality TV. Maybe past elections have been like this and I just didn’t realize it….But it’s been crazy. The idea of “fake news” and “alternative facts” have been thrown out there in the last few month or so. This has all been very alarming to me. Why? Because people are taking sides in this big mess when I think it’s safe to say that we have no clue what’s actually going on. Yet we are dogmatic on our politicians and their confusing stances on policy. Just recently , Donald Trump said that “healthcare will be accessible to everyone” when on the campaign trail he said it would be provided for everyone. That’s a big difference and a big deal. They are not the same things…Yet those who champion Trump will not be shaken even though the facts have been alluded. Continue reading “Fake News? What About Fake Religion?”
The absolute display of unconditional love here is inspiring. Watch it and see what God looks like in 2016 and maybe what Jesus looked like in his day. Do not be afraid to admit that this is the power that can change the world that we live in. Where politics, war, and religion undoubtedly fall short…Love will take over and win.
You can’t see the picture when you’re in the frame. It has always been hard for me to see certain aspects of my life and what’s actually going on. The truth is, I have a certain amount of blindness. Blindness in being able to see certain things that are taking place. As time has…

Do we believe that satan is a little devil lurking in the shadows trying to temp us? Or is the Satanic something that is much worse? Read this article to start asking your own questions on the satanic….maybe its us?
In this article, “Which Neighbor Should Evangelicals Love?“, you can clearly see the satanic mechanism at work in the preservationist mentality of Franklin Graham and a big portion of the Evangelical community. We must start to see that we are not battling a literal created being named Satan, but the satanic principles that are capable of coming out of each and everyone of us, even those who cast out demons, prophecy, and perform miracles in Jesus name (Matt 7:22-24). When we draw a line in the sand and define the “enemy other”, as if God is on our side and not theirs, we have very clearly become the satan ourselves. All the while, we can stand behind a pulpit and say the name of Jesus….yet the satanic mechanism is deeply at work. Just think about it…do we live in fear of death? Or do we live in the Spirit of Jesus Christ, who loved his enemies and gives life?
